Russia or officially known as the Russian Federation is a country located in northern Eurasia. Constitution of the Federal Presidential Republic and consists of 85 provinces. From northwest to southeast, Russia, shares territorial borders with Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Georgia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Mongolia and North Korea. The sea is near Japan and the US state of Alaska. by area 17.075.400 sq.km.. It is the largest state of the planet, covering more than one eighth of the world's habitable land. Russia, are also, the ninth most populous country in the world, with over 146 million people, according to estimates 2012. The country's capital is Moscow. The official language is Russian ruble and currency.

The Russian Federation was created in 1991 and came from the breakdown of the USSR. Since, its regime is presidential republic on the model of Western liberal model.
